Yes - back in the pub, alas.
Rhian - you out there? You're welcome to come along if you're not sick/stuck at work/suddenly moved to Osaka.

Hi, I could make it. I assume we're back in the pub?

Joe, Rhian - We didn't get enough people to start Psychosis last week, so there's still room for you if you can make this week?

Cool. I'd love to check out Psychosis, but I can't make it today. I managed to get a cold as soon as I was back in England, so I better get some rest, sorry.

Hi Joe - It'd be great to have you back, of course. Any chance you could make this evening? I could still use another player for Psychosis. (No complex rules, character creation, or even a pencil and paper needed, if that helps.)

Hi there fellow fugitives from reality,
I'm back in London and if you are still looking for a player and willing to take me in again, I'd love to play with you again. I need to get a couple of things sorted first, like getting a place to live (it's not gonna be a spacious centrally located flat I'm afraid).

Well, if we've got three players then we're on for this evening. I'm assuming you can make it, Rhian?

Psychosis it is, then. It's designed as a convention game, so it's basically pickup and play. I'll put out call for two more players - with luck, we can start next session.
Adam - details going up on the New Games forum, if you're interested.

I'm actually quite fired up to run the WFRP campaign but why don't we play Psychosis first as it sounds like it's fairly self-contained.
Do we have time to get started this Tuesday? I'd like to play something so if we don't then maybe we could play a one shot.

No problem James - it was good playing with you, too. You got the place to do War Studies, then? Hope it's as interesting as it sounds!

That leaves me a bit ambivalent about carrying on with the existing campaign. On the one hand, there's a pretty good opportunity to bring in new characters at the start of the next adventure and I'd like to give the campaign a proper ending. On the other hand... creating experienced characters is a hassle, the new players won't know the plot threads I'll be tying up, and I'm not particularly looking forward to the inevitable attrition that happens with new players.
I'm going to suggest three alternatives again:
1) Continue the existing game. I suggest this as the default if it turns out James is still in after all.
2) I've got a self-contained game/adventure thing called "Psychosis: Ship of Fools" that might be fun. It looks like it was designed as a full-day convention game so I'd expect it to run for about four to six evening sessions. We'd need two or three more players, obviously.
3) Will's WHFRP campaign. I'm a GM by preference, but playing is fun too so I'm up for this if people fancy a change.
I have a very mild preference for (2), but that's probably just the usual "ooh, shiny!" reaction to whatever it is I last read. Votes? Preferences?

I'm in Sussex now, so I doubt I'll be able to make it down I'm afraid. A pity, it was great fun playing with you guys! When/if I'm back in London I'll look to see if the group is still together, but for the moment it looks like I'm out.
James.

Adam - we'll definitely be looking for at least one new player, but first we need to decide what we're playing. Watch this space.
