Sorry to hear that you'll be late, Rhian. It should be fairly easy to slot in your character whenever you wish, at the beginning, so it's up to you whether you sit this one out or join when you arrive.

Re Dragonmeet: it's been ages since I was on a con. I would fancy it. Is anybody going?

OK, thanks for the heads up. (Adam: In principle I can play on a different night but I'm not sure a table would be available in the pub.)

My preference would be to do character creation this Tuesday (2nd) with Joe and Rhian and then start in earnest from Tuesday 9th. As suggested, Sam and Adam could roll up characters at home or perhaps we could just start a little earlier with them on the 9th.

Joe and Rhian : I'm guessing that character creation will take about an hour or so. As such, I would understand if you don't want to make a special trip in just for that. If so, we'll just pick things up on Tuesday the 9th.

P.S. I mentioned to some of you last week that the Dragonmeet convention is on the first Saturday in December but I got that wrong - it's actually on 27th November. Type "Dragonmeet" into Google and you'll find it.

Actually... it turns out I can't make next Tuesday either. Sorry about that - maybe skip a week? Or I think I've still got the 1st ed. rulebook, so you could take Joe and Rhian through character creation and start the adventure the week after, I suppose.

I've just realised I can't do next Tuesday (unless I want to get into real trouble with the girlfriend ). Any chance we could do a different night? Failing that, you could start without me - I've got the WFRP rulebook kicking around somewhere so I could cobble together a character myself ready for the following session if that helps.
